SFL car meet #2-August 26 Palm Beach Coffee & Cars!

I wanted to see if we can get another good Stinger turnout at the next Palm Beach Coffee & Cars meet on 8/26! We had 8-10 Stingers last time and would be great to keep expanding our presence. Need help getting the word out about our awesome Stingers and this is the perfect venue.

I’m planning to bring a nice 10x10 canopy and chairs to keep us cool in the shade. I’m also thinking of making Kiastinger.com/Stingerforum.org promo materials like flyers, stickers, T-shirts, etc. like we spoke about last meet. Any help and suggestions to promote our Stingers & forum would be greatly appreciated.

I know we have a lot of local Stingers out there and need help expanding our Stinger community. Everyone should come out, make new friends and have some fun car talk.

Come on all let’s show them what team Stinger is all about!

OK, just booked a hotel, Dorothy, my son and I are planning to be there. Let's hope we can get a big turn out from the local Stinger population. We all enjoyed the July meet. Like your idea of the canopy, we will bring our color coordinated chairs.

All you Stinger owners, this is the best car meet in Florida, IMO. We get to put our Stingers on display and talk cars, cars, cars. West Palm Beach has the largest turnout in Florida, maybe the country? The meet in July had a whole line of Civic Type R's, I think that is what they call them. It was impressive. Would like to get a line of Stingers this month, would generate a lot of traffic and impressed car freeks. Please sign up, look forward in seeing you there.

Awesome! So far just planning to get there a little before 8am to setup and hold spots. The closer to the activity the better and hopefully next to a grassy island like last time.

No we don’t have the stickers yet but know Sal is working on it. There’s a chance we’ll have the for the meet, but if not we were thinking of making inexpensive shirts/towels with iron on printouts. Open to ideas, but it would be nice to have something we can all wear with the forum and FL Stinger Club, etc displayed.

Great to hear and hoping for a great turnout too. I’m going to try to promote it everywhere I can and just need to keep it fresh on the forum so people keep seeing the reminders.

We had a great time, hugh turnout for the meet, just not Stingers. We had 3 Forum members in attendance this month:
Twistedorca, Dragonzsled, and Paul32. Thanks to Twistedorca for getting there early and securing a good location under the trees. One other Stinger joined us from Facebook and 2 Kia Optimas joined the Stingers. No locals showed up. The three members were from Port St. Lucie, Loxahatchee and Flagler Beach. Where are the Stingers from Dade, Broward and Palm Beach?? Good luck with pulling attendees for future events. Sorry to hear about StungblueGT2's rear end issue (car). Dave was the organizer for this event and was unable to attend. Some of the pictures follow. If I post picture of the hot spectator's in the future, would that bring out more Stingers?

I’m surprised you all didn’t see a few more just based on all the new Stingers I’ve seen lately. There’s at least 4 in my local area that I see all the time, but they never respond to my flashing lights, waving, etc. I think we finally have Stinger owners that don’t know or don’t care how special the Stinger really is.

But I apologize again I missed everyone and should have my Stinger back before September’s show. Kia said two weeks but I’m already having Stinger withdraws so it better be sooner than later!

Sorry, I'm giving up on the S. Florida Stingers. I have driven 200 miles, 3.5 hours, paid for a hotel, two months in a row and the locals are not interested. I'll look for something closer. Sorry for your broke Stinger, hope you get it back soon. Dorothy and I enjoyed meeting you guys last month.

Paul, let me know what you find up there or even in the Orlando area. I'll make the trip up. I'm sure Chuck would take the ride up too.

Sorry to hear that and for your disappointment in the SFL Stingers turnouts. I think the 8+ we had last month was a great start and next months 5th anniversary PBC&C should be even better! Harry, and my 2-3 other IG buddys plan on being there so 10+ should be possible.

However it was great meeting you too and thank you for all your time effort trying to help get the SFL Stinger movement started. I give you credit for your dedication and wish you the best on your local car shows.
