Service Procedure For Pano Sunroof?

Hi folks. I was looking for a service procedure that someone posted for the Sonata pano roof creaking and popping. I took my 2018 Stinger GT2 into the shop to have this service done, printed the instructions and left them on the seat. They didn't do the service I asked, they said they greased the roof tracks and the noise stopped....and tossed out the printed instructions. They said: "bring it back if it starts making noise again". Well of course the noise started like two days out from the service appointment. I searched the relevant threads and can't find the service procedure.

There is no “permanent” fix for this issue per a reputable Kia source.

Someone had posted a service procedure for the Sonata at one time since it's the same pano roof. It involved taking the headliner down and adding some foam between whatever pieces are making contact. The dealership said they would do that the next time if the problem persisted, however they discarded my printout and now I can't find it again.

I sincerely hope you find this service procedure. I too am following and looking for this fix. My issue is not the sunroof. The sunroof appears solid and the popping noise is getting worse from the headliner around the sunroof. I have an open case with Kia Corporate thanks to others on here. I have four months to figure this out before my lease expires and then need to decide to buy and keep or buy and sell for a nice profits. Not keeping it if this headliner keeps popping all over the place when I drive.

Bobr posted it on February 1st. Acoustic felt is very common between plastic body panels, kind of surprised it's needed between the pano cross member and the bodyside.
