Service Message for Oil Change

Does anyone know how to turn off the service notification for oil change? It shows vehicle service in 7 days with a wrench illuminated. My local KIA dealer set my car up for an oil change reminder every 6 months and I drive less than 6,000 in 18 months. The service tech said to drop by and he would turn it off but it is a 30 to 45 minute drive to the dealer and if I can do it myself from home that would be easier. I did look through my manuals and did not see a way to perform the task.

1. Place the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. ...
2. Go to the USER SETTINGS mode by pressing the ❐ MODE button repeatedly. ...
3. Find and select SERVICE INTERVAL. ...
4. Uncheck the service interval function check mark
