sooo lets say i was driving kinda fast right. and a dip comes out the blue!!! car sends it. i make it to the other side and everyhting looks and seems fine.

what should i inspect to make sure everything is ok? happened two months ago and am now thinking about it.

Did you check your shorts?

You didn't hit anything. There were no alarming noises accompanying the adventure. Everything felt and sounded good when you resumed, and since: I'd say carry on until something signifies. And don't do that again. Hah.

110% soiled lol.

i have a metal plate under my car so i wasn't really worried about hearing that scrape on the floor but i am curious about my socks. the bottomed out for sure so i feel like they might be a little bent or something.

I have jumped my stinger before. Like all tires off the ground type of jump. Like twice. Then again I have a bunch of suspension and subframe mods so maybe the load got distributed better than stock. Since it didn't really bottom out, I would have heard a slam. If you check your alinement and everything seems fine then you should be ok. I think you would notice right away if you had a blown shock.

Shocks will be fine.

1) cosmetic damage. Look under the car for scrapes, torn air dams, rocker panel covers unsnapped, etc.

2) bent suspension components. Usually very obvious because there will be a major misalignment causing driving issues. Lift the car, remove wheels, inspect all the control arms, spindles, and tie rods to make sure they don't look bent.

3) broken suspension components. Easier to tell.

4) loss of alignment. Could have put enough force on a wheel to move an attachment point, thereby losing alignment. Usually easy to tell because the car will pull or have other odd driving tendencies.

5) bent rim. Inspect them.

Since you haven't noticed anything, pretty sure you're OK.

If alignment is off then there is a decent chance something bent, or a joint has failed/blown out, could also be a bent wheel

Good chance most anyone under 30 (possibly even 35) wont get that reference.

So for you all even older than I, which came first the chicken or the egg: PCs and other electronic devices having a "turbo" button as a generic term for "go faster", or Knight Rider's "turbo boost" button?
