I came across this great post discussing the app, seems very interesting and in theory pretty accurate. Or at the very least accurate enough to compare a test from before a given mod / change to after.
* can't post links google search for "PerfExpert App - The Poor Man's Dyno" *
But to use the app we need to quite a bit of detail on the car, accurately.
And of course some of these values will change possibly significantly from car to car (GT vs GT1 / GT2, RWD vs AWD, wheel's / tires, etc.)
Going through the initial setup here's the data we need to supply

- Curb Weight
- Engine Displacement
- Fuel Type
- Fuel Tank Capacity
- Wheel Dimensions (They mean tire size)
- Drag area (Cd.A)
- Transmission (They mean drive line FWD RWD AWD)
- Final Drive Ratio
- Pitch ( ? )
- Gear Ratios for 2nd 3rd and 4th (I'm actually not even sure which gear we'd do a long pull in might have to)
