So is anyone running a scrambler? If so, where did you mount it and what brand are you running?
Radar scrambler. Scrambles police radar detectors.WTH is a "scrambler", other than an amusement park ride?
No it's different than a detector, scramblers actually scrambler the radar giving it a 0mph or a error code. I'm in the statesAh, different name. Radar detector. Thanks. Where are you?
Ya that article references jammers and detectors, a scrambler is different. Those are not legal in the states. But you can read about them HERE
Ya they arent legal in most placesIllegal in Australia ...
Still illegal thoughYa that article references jammers and detectors, a scrambler is different.
Lol. It must scramble your brains too. Your responding to yourself.Still illegal though
Ya couldn't figure out how to edit my post to add to it. Someone seems a little salty they thought they were coming here to educate me and had no idea what he was talking about though.Lol. It must scramble your brains too. Your responding to yourself.
I don't know anything about this stuff. But it seems to me a feckless device, if the cop up the road has a reliable radar gun pointed right at you, and your vehicle won't paint. Wouldn't that make the cop suspicious that you have a scrambler/jammer onboard? They are the same thing. Scrambler, Jammer...whatever
Radar scramblers, are also known as radar jammers. Which in turn jams/scrambles the radar that returns to the radar transmittor and can
sometimes result in a non result. Semantics.
I'm sure they will be, that's why placement is so important. That's why I asked where people had theirs mounted if they had one.I don't know anything about this stuff. Jammers also can interfere with radios and a scrambler does not. They are the same thing. Scrambler, Jammer...whatever
