Scorpion style rear spoiler

Has anyone bought and installed this type of Scorpion style rear spoiler?

I have seen videos and threads where they purchased the entire lid with spoiler already attached, and then replaced their original deck lid, but this is just the spoiler. The site states you can install with just 3M tape, or use bolts. No way I'm trusting tape, so I'd really like to know if anyone removed their deck lid, and drilled holes and attached one of these. The spoiler looks sweet, but I'm not sure it will be worth the hassle. I have a 2019 GT2 HiChroma Red

tape would work fine if you do it right ... use REAL 3M tape and not the Chinesium tape that might come with the spoiler, clean area with rubbing alcohol and use adhesion promoter, and put some towels on spoiler and weight it down with something (barbells, weight plates, etc) for 24 hours before driving it again. did that with a spoiler for my previous car and it was NOT going anywhere.
