Hello all! I have a 19' GT2 and I've started to notice vibrating when breaking. I'm aware that this is a known issue for various Stinger's however what is the process moving forward? I'd rather not buy new rotors for a leased car with under 4,000 miles and I'd like to try and avoid getting them turned. I heard there is a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on rotors however I haven't been able to find any info on this. Also any tips on talking with the dealership about this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time and your responses!

The dealer will resolve... But tell them you want euro spec pads. The rotors should be replaced or turned to match the new pads. Do not let them use the same pads.

They will cover the cost for this?

While DiabloStingers advice about moving to euro pads is good, the dealer is under no obligation to cover that cost and you will get charged an arm and a leg for euro pads if you buy them through the dealer. You might be able to have them resurface the rotors and install pads that you provide, but you'll still be out the cost of the non-oem spec pads.

Take it to the dealer, you are still covered by the warranty. It will take some back and forth with them to actually replace rotors and pads, but will oblige. Also call the VIP line and open a case with them, that will also increase your chances of getting them replaced.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You are more than likely dealing with pad deposits from the *wonderful* pad compound kia offers us here in the US.

I cannot post the link unfortunately (because I am a new member), but go check out the sticky on the Brakes Technical forum roughly entitled "FAQ- Vibration Under Braking? Warped Rotors? No!"
