Hey everyone.

Has anyone figured out the roof rattle in the roof liner?!?!?! Is this a common issue? For me it's more passenger side but I originally thought it was the sunroof but it's not. Is the any fix short of pulling the roof liner out?

Probably a loose clip so just do a hard press along the extremities until you hear a click and it should be ok.

Try this.
Unbolt your roof handle. If the noise stops, it is likely the tape they put under the handle that is making a popping/creaking noise.
I will be taking mine into Kia shortly for this (and 10k maintenance).

Thanks!!! I've been trying so much short of taking the whole liner out and looking at it all. But I haven't tried this and it's around the passenger side. If I apply pressure beside the sunroof opening it stops so this could be it!

This I have tried. But maybe I'm missing the clips. I'll see if I can find a diagram of exactly where these clips are and go from there. Thanks

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Remove oh shit handles. Remove the backing for them in the liner (you can just pull off the weatherstripping and stick your hand in.) Wrap the backing in felt tape once. Poke holes in the tape for the screws before you put them back in the roof. Then reinstall. I’ve had blissful silence for months now after doing this.

Lmao ohhhhh I can only imagine!!!! It drives me nuts!!! It's less noisy with the sunshade closed so I've had it closed forever and I usually always have it open. This makes me think the clip issue could be it also. But I have a couple new approaches thanks everyone!!! This forum has been a godsend
