Roof Bars

Hi,

I am upgrading from an Optima to a Stinger. I have the roof bars for the Optima, they are really good quality Thule. Does anyone know if the same bars will work on a Stinger?

What year Optima? I was able to move my Rhino Rack from my 2016 Optima SX-L over to my Stinger. The roof is only a few MM wider than the Optima.

a wife and a kid for a six week holiday in another country....need to take plenty of things...only use the box for the one day trip there and the trip back...

I can't comment on the 2011 bars, but the '16 fit fine. I would measure, that would confirm.

Thule Evo clamps and their car-specific fitting kit work with most of their roof bars. I fitted Wingbars to mine and they work nicely.

The parts you will need are:

• Thule WingBar Evo 135
  SKU 711420
• Thule Evo Clamp
  SKU 710500
• Kit 5081

Your existing bar may also fit if the length is ok. With Wingbars it should be 135 cm.
