Interestingly it says they will have 2-3 variants of the 2.0 turbo model and 3.3. Yet another article (http://www.motoring.com.au/kia-stinger-gt-to-target-commodore-heartland-106807/) reports a non-GT 3.3 also? Pricing speculation is becoming contentious too though, perhaps the reason for a "performance/base model" 3.3 spec being mentioned on offer. I guess this will be in addition to the "GT" spec 3.3, with all bells n whistles, tech and features (except AWD).

I predict (going by comments) supply may be an issues for this car, in Australia, at least early on.

He did also confirm to me, I am one of those 30 pre-orders. Yay!

It's getting so much attention here in Australia and the 'haters' are slowly being silenced by the overall attention this car is getting, even from people who never considered a Kia previously.
I'm excited so I hope it's a good as the hype.
I couldn't help thinking that I was one of those 30 as well which gave me a boost in that I'm not the only one loving this Car.

Me too Marco-Oz, really excited for this one. I am even extending our car port now so I can park my work ute out there and clear out that garage space...

Absolutely, about 3 months ago, it'll be a sure thing, once Kia starts their marketing engine up on TV itll replace the aged Holden and Ford conversation here in Australia for good, its time for a change, and some of the new cars coming out the old cars will be a distant memory.

Call your local Kia dealer to get the ball rolling. You might be able to make a deposit over the phone...
