what would be the best solution in fixing this merlin?Seatbelt retractor has loosened up. The buckle is contacting the B pillar. (worth a look; at least one on here had that as the cause)
A piece of felt tape placed where the buckle rattles. At least that's the first thing that comes to mind. Mine hasn't started doing this yet.what would be the best solution in fixing this merlin?
I bought a rubber buckle guard , works like a charm , lots on amazonA piece of felt tape placed where the buckle rattles. At least that's the first thing that comes to mind. Mine hasn't started doing this yet.
What are the cladding covers, where are they located?I just went through this with the Honda, check under the car for those cladding covers… I swore it was in my roof, it was under the car
I now have an annoying rattle coming from the passenger seat itself. Not sure if it's the same issue you are experiencing (I dealt with the seatbelt issue after about two days of driving the car because that was such an obvious bad design)?Hi, guys, I have had my stinger GT2 since August and within the past month, a noticeable rattle noise has been coming from the right passenger seat/door. Has anyone had any problems like this and if so what did you do to fix the problem?
Who are you replying to? The seat rattle I have that can be easily replicated when the car is not running has nothing to do with the outside of the car. The door pillar and grab handle are also known sources of rattles due to the seat belt and the way the grab handle is attached. And, the loose rocker cover is another separate problem.it's the rocker panel cover under the car cheap plastic just snaps in place The sound noise then travels up through the B piller sounds like it's in the door just lay down next to the car look under it and make sure it snapped in place
