I remember when the first Hyundai Genesis Sedan launched - with NO cooled passenger seat!Interesting. A heated steering wheel button.........
But again, no wireless charging, no SVM and no heated rear seats.
I remember when the first Hyundai Genesis Sedan launched - with NO cooled passenger seat!WTF was that all about? Only the DRIVER gets a cooled seat? What kind of sick craziness is that? I mean - it really was kind of stupid. What would it have cost? Another $25 to add the cooled function to the passenger seat? Perhaps $35,000 was "a-okay" to buy the car but $35,025 was out of the question!
Shame. I think they were onto something. But nobody bought them because of that passenger seat. Who wanted to brag to their shot gun rider about their awesome cooled buttocks only to hear how stupid it was that only THEY had the pleasure of a cooled anal cavity? Before this debacle I predicted people buying the Genesis Sedan everywhere - and Hyundai even starting a sub brand named "Genesis" in the not too distant future...
The things that could have been if only I were at the helm.![]()
I hear ya. I do! But my point is, this will pass.Did they also bring over KDM versions with a cooled passenger seat to the US. Park them at dealers, let people sit in them, etc. Then hope customers might not ever have a hot passenger so they would never figure out the US didn't get it?
Then, did they launch it in Canada with a cooled passenger seat and charge $23,000 for it?

This is pretty much always the case. Newer models or even refreshes almost always bring on new technologies and features.I feel like future model years will throw in better features, bigger display panels, etc. I wouldn't feel right buying the first version of a car ever made (unless you view that as a novelty). At the same time, you have no idea what will change in the future, so that makes it hard.
