Quick question. I just traded my 2019 Stinger for a new 2022 GT2. Overall very happy with the upgrades though noticed that in sport mode, car randomly maintains a longer rev hang between 3000-4000 rpm. This almost always occurs when entering a gradual turn either from a complete stop or rolling stop. I’m trying to avoid going over 4K rpm per manual instructions for break-in and during these episodes I will often let off the gas and the car will slow and rpms will slowly drift down to 3K followed by automatic shifting, though it can hang on for 3-4 seconds before shifting. I don’t remember this level of “aggression” on my other GT in sport mode and just curious if anyone else has experienced a similar phenomenon on the 2022.

Mine does that too in sport mode. I wouldn't worry too much about a few instances of 4k RPM with little to no load affecting break-in. I think it just holds the gear in anticipation of us hitting the gas again.

“I ride the redline…”
- some random tuner guy.

Ditto on my 2022, revs hang there when I turn into my neighborhood when in Sports mode.

Thanks. That’s helpful. I figured it was probably normal but given the noticeable difference from my previous Stinger, fingered it was worth asking around.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
My 2022 GT2 also does the same in Sport mode.
