I’m in Canada and there doesn’t seem to be many options other than the popular Ark brand. I found one Canadian retailer selling RES secondary catless pipes for just $100 less than Ark.(2019+ Kia Stinger 3.3L RES Catless/ sport Secondary Downpipes) Thinking of giving it a shot but not sure if anyone has any experience with RES and their quality. They appear to be a Chinese brand so I’m a little skeptical. I have a 2022 GT2, this 2019+ should fit in theory?

I’ve taken care of my drone and rasp problem with Vibrant ultra quiet resonators and AliExpress tips on a custom Lozic EVC exhaust. I’m looking to make my exhaust a little louder now and take advantage of my valved exhaust to bring down the noise whenever I need to vs now there’s virtually no difference valves open/closed. The vibrant ultra quiet resonators really cleaned up the sound but it’s half the volume and lost the burbles. Hoping adding secondary pipes will introduce the clean exhaust note with more volume but not the rasp at low RPMs. If anyone is wanting to hear the difference:

For $100 I'd personally stick with ARK, I have ARK secondaries and can 100% confirm theyre a great quality productal along with a lot of other owners on here. I'Ve never heard of RES pipes before.

This Canadian supplier is around the same price for the ARK pipes: Downpipes Archives - UNIQPERFORMANCE

Never heard of RES pipes either. I agree as well to stick with Ark secondaries. When I got them installed I was impressed by the quality and finish of the piping. With the borla active exhaust I have very minimal drone with valves closed on freeway and especially on the streets. With the non valved borla for 18-21 model years yes I had more drone. I also always use exhaust tips to extend beyond the bumper which helps with drone. I got mine installed at the ARK headquarters.

I feel like catbacks really shine with secondaries, it's like almost a must :)

lol I literally just replied to a reddit thread and didn't realize you were the OP! I'm sold on the Ark and there's a sale from one of the Canadian vendors! Question around rasp though - since you've installed it for about a month now, did you find that it helped with reducing rasp? I've always thought it was the other way around since you're getting better flow. After your break-in period is it raspy at any RPM?

Oh damn haha. Yeah just saw your reddit post. Glad you watched the video! It's so great now not having rasp and having the luxury being able to make it quiter.

When i got the ark installed with 18-21 borla non valved it had rasp when you are standing revving it but gunning it not so much. Glad to help!
