Hi,

Does anyone have good tips on replacing the steering wheel badge? What's the best way to ensure I don't damage the steering wheel?

Thanks.

Put a sticker in it. ;) That whole front section of the steering wheel is connected to the airbag. I would definitely unplug the battery if you plan on paying on it at all.

Steering badge sticker with Stinger script probably not there and maybe other places is because the script logo design maybe an after thought, in regards to size.
Scaling it down to fit, say the steering wheel badge is so small it looks stupid.
The oval size is 62mm x 30mm.
And the stinger script font when scaled down looks miniscule.
Like wise any where else, except maybe the headrest or backseat might have been ok.
Even the door sills strips is only 15mm in height. It looks odd if you keep the same scropt and enlarge to fit.
Notice the aftermarket supplied with led for the door sills are larger than the one standard fitted.
Changing the script of the STINGER to fit in certain areas is probably not a great idea unless you want to change the logo to fit.
FYI
I made a few 3m vinyl stickers and ran into this problem.
