Remote start with regular key fob

Just bought a 2019 GT1 with remote start. The separate remote start fobs work fine but I saw somewhere where you could start with the normal fob. The sequence doesn't work for me (unlock)...within 3 seconds (hatch) button. Anyone else get this to work? I'd really like not having to have the extra fob on my key ring

Try pressing the lock button, then the hatch or unlock button

Just tried all ways...nothing. I've tried holding down and also releasing. Do any of the buttons need to be held down or just pushed and released?

It's lock first, then the hatch or horn button (don't press the unlock). Regular key presses and release, no long press.
