I was coming back from the grocery store on Dec 26th- and stopped at a red light. Just as I stopped at the red light, an accident occurred on the northwest corner to my location. Apparently, someone was trying to beat a green left turn arrow.

I did not witness the accident, but while waiting at the red light, all of a sudden a 2016 Honda Accord, with the front end all smashed in, air bag deployed, was slowly rolling toward my Soo Lee. I couldn’t back up because there was a car behind me, and just when I attempted to move to the right- the Honda struck my front bumper, putting a hole and a vertical crack in it, and scratching my headlight lens.

Well, turns out I’ll be getting more than that bumper repaint that I had planned for Spring. On Tuesday I’ll be going to the Body Shop for a new, freshly painted bumper. They are also going to polish out the light scraches on the headlights. No other damage was done. Guess I got lucky.

All in all, its really quite a surreal experience to watch an unmanaged car slowly rolling towards your beloved steed- ready to dole out definite damage.

Happy New Year Stinger Bro’s!

Bad luck Lord Aastyra. Hope your new year goes smoother. Good luck with the repairs.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Well that sucks. But it sounds like you weren't hurt (other than maybe psychologically from witnessing your car getting hit ), and the damage was only cosmetic. Certainly glad it wasn't worse.

Yeah- that slow motion part felt like impending doom.:p Happy New Year, man!
Thanks. I won’t be putting back on the new bumper. I’ll finally be getting the Air Design kit that I’ve been wanting.

...that previous reply was poorly structured. Of course I’m getting a new bumper, but what I’m not putting back on is the current lip. I’m getting the Air Design Winglets for my Spring project .

I figured that's what you meant. :) I really like the AD winglets. I'm considering getting them, but its probably either those or springs. Where I live, I can't have both :(

Nice! If you get the winglets, I strongly suggest the matching rocker panel fins.
