Red blinking light - center dash speaker

I noticed I have a red light blinking on top of dash (next to center speaker) closest to the middle windshield - when doors are locked. I assume that is the factory alarm? Is this common on all Stingers?? Since I just purchased this as a CPO, curious if that is factory or aftermarket.

Does this activate by default every time the door is locked?

Pretty sure mine starts blinking when I turn off the ignition, door locked or not. I'll double check.

It flashes even if the doors are unlocked. I park my Stinger in the garage so I do not lock the doors assuming I have no garage Ninja's to worry about. If the ignition is off, the alarm light is blinking.
