About a month ago I stopped at the dealer I bought my car (back in Dec 2020), placed my order for the recall kit. Was told to call back a couple weeks later if I hadn't heard anything, did that and got transferred to a voicemail. No return call.

I'm wondering if I need to hound them or just be patient. The odds of the HECU failing and making my Stinger into a rolling BBQ are really low, but at some point it needs to be done...

Ye, look for another dealer.

Heh, I got mine ordered and delivered in two days. I wouldn't hound anyone over this: it'll get done sooner or later if you don't space it off. :P

My dealer told me it would be next month before they got the parts for mine. Told me they order the parts per VIN.

I have 4 Kia dealerships within a 25 mile range. Called every single of them to order my recall part. I went to the dealer who ever called me first. Done within a week.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I was told by the Kia dealer here in Mississauga that there is a shortage of parts for the recall, could take at least a month.
