Can anyone tell me which of the fuses is switched, so that it only comes on with the ignition? I have checked with a multi-meter, but I cannot seem to find a switched fuse. I was trying to wire in a blackvue power magic pro, but when I wired it all together, the power did not come on to the rear view camera. I had already installed a lighter socket back there, and it works great, but I keep forgetting to unplug the camera, and do not want my battery to go dead.

I would try the rear seat heater fuse (F2) tap first. if you fry it, you'll just end up with cold rear seat passengers.

Thanks, I tried that, but I am guessing the power magic pro is not working. I will plug my earlier lighter install tap into the seat heaters then.

I tried all the fuses today, while my car was off, my camera still ran no matter what fuse I used In the rear sub-junction box.

Is there a timer on the power going into the fuses? Do I need to wait 20 minutes or so to tell if the power will turn off?

there‘s definitely a timer, but the rear seat heater should go off with the ignition. You could try f9, but I’d give it 5 mins with no new actions (ie door open) to make sure the electronics are asleep. My sub amp eventually turns off, but it’s not immediate.

Thanks, I will try that. That is kinda what I was looking to hear. Right now I use F12, which is not listed on the diagram here, but it is for the ignition (At least it says IG1 relay).

Well, switched the fuse tap around, left the cam plugged in for an hour, but it still powered the camera. Oh well, guess I will try to remember to unplug it after every drive, and carry a portable charger with me.

The camera is just plugged in by a lighter. But I am trying to install the power magic pro, which is a timer, i think made by Blackvue. But it is 3 wires, constant power, switched power, and ground.

Can you check camera power with the switched power not connected to see if it's off

you can hook switched power up to the amp switched power, that's what I did for my sub amp. it does shut off when the car shuts off all the interior lights, 10 mins or something like that. I haven't sat there with a stopwatch, but when I park in my garage and come back out later, the blue power LED on the sub amp is out if I don't touch a door knob or walk next to the car with a key. But ANY, and I do mean ANY, action to alert the car to your presence (key fob nearby, open a door, close a door, or the hatch, etc.) will wake it up again and restart the countdown to turn it back off. so if you've been doing your testing with the key fob on you, or opening the trunk to check, that might be why you're not seeing anything turn off.

also, are you testing the fuse tap to make sure there's no current, or are you relying on the camera? does the camera have a switch or something to set it to use the turn on lead?

Did you ever find a rear fuse to tap off that is accessory switched?

Late post as I was trying to figure out what "IG1" "IG2" meant. Thought it was ignition lol

For the Rear Sub Junction Box (trunk fuse panel), look for "ACC" fuse slot and that'll provide voltage when in Accessory mode (push start once)
As of my current battery state, looks like when in Accessory it provides 12.00 volts, in "ON" (push start second time), it provides 11.79 volts. I checked like an hour ago and I thought I saw like 12.07 volts in Accessory? Forgot how it works but my guess was battery capacity went down.

Please note: I don't know what the amperage requirement is for ACC (for my 2019 GT2 US version) the fuse is 30A but my cheapo Harbor Freight one only protects to 10A....
