2023 GT-Line. When the rear seats are folded forward there are what appear to be extentions of the cargo area carpet that overlay the carpeting already on the seat backs. Problem is that the 'stickers' ( approx 1 1/2" diameter) between the two layers of carpet do not hold the extra layer of carpet when the seats are in normal position. Suggestions?

Is this a change? Because I don't see anything resembling what you described in either the '18 or '19 Stinger. A picture would help.

Yeah I had one of those. It's a carpeted cargo mat + seat back protector/carpeting. Mine came with it as well and the first hot summer I had the seat back part fell pretty much instantly. I just removed the whole thing out of the car and called it done. I believe it was an add on from the dealership.

Thanks. Yes, that is an addon. First one I've heard of. As you described, it looks like the Velcro pads are shot. If you are invested in this, simply replace with good quality Velcro.
How about this?

Sounds like what I was thinking. But if the ones in there were an add-on, what did they do with those backing pads from the factory? Thanks!

I think those "backing pads" are not from the factory.

Those circular self-adhesive velcro pads, are not from the factory.
