Rear Heated Seats in 2019 GT2 RWD?

Removed the rear set and sure enough the connection was not made. So much for quality control. While I was at it I also removed the rubber banded blue plastic seatbelt latch protectors. Appears dealer just shoved them down into the seat. Funny the things that get protected and the things that don’t. Attached is a side note: don’t want the baby getting sunburn. :) Not sure why rotated. Anyways, have a good day and thanks for all the help.View attachment 50682
Hey, sorry to drag up an old thread but I have a similar issue. My car went in to Kia for some diagnostics on a few unrelated issues and we've noticed that the rear heated seats don't work anymore. They definitely did before it went in.

I'm wondering if they've managed to disconnect something. How exactly do I get to these connections? I'm already stumped at"removed the rear seat" :)

Thanks!

there is a 10mm bolt right above each of the inboard LATCH hook covers. Removal is easy; putting those two back in can be a bear. You'll need a socket extension, and I strongly recommend turning them by hand for the first few turns to make sure you don't cross thread them, as they go in at a slight angle.

once you have those out, just pull on the forward edge of the seat and it'lI come up. You'll see the connector on the right side of the seat, and the cable should be nearby on the underseat tray.

Hello all,

Just took delivery of my 2019 GT2 RWD last week. I have been working my way thru the manual, and I also worked my way through all 80 pages of the "Surprises and Discoveries" thread...

One thing I have not been able to find an answer to in the manual, or on the forums so far is the following. . .

A number of reviews I have read/ watched, as well as the Kia website itself, states that rear heated seats are standard on the 2019 GT2 RWD. . . but I cant find any info on how to actually activate them.

As a matter of fact, pretty much zero info other than the fact that they are supposed to exist.

Anyone with any info on this?

Thank you in advance,
Dear sir /There is a buttom above the rear window switch, it has a l little seat on heat button with three lines and that is the control switch that heat your back seats.
