I just got a Kia Stinger GT2 and i wanted to ask a question. I find that when I am at a four way residential stop and then accelerate as I turn, my rear tires skid and I am not going that fast. it does not happen when I accelerate going straight but only when I turn. I am not gunning it but rather accelerating normally. Has anyone encountered that?

All the time, both with the Continentals and now the Michellins. Embrace the power lol.

Lots of low-end torque, RWD car, cold road, summer tires.

Sounds about right.

welcome to the stinger baby!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
If you're looking to minimize a little bit of that slip, front and rear eibach swaybars really reigned it in for me. Still can get the tail out if I want, but it's so much more planted now.

Yes but let's face it, if you don't accelerate hard it will not slip.
To break traction, even on less than ideal surface, you need atleast 25-30% hard throttle. During normal driving my Stinger revs to about 1500rpm when changing into 2nd gear.
