Just a quick question on dealer parts availability. My body shop is still waiting on the rear trim inserts for over a week now. It's the final piece holding up me getting the car back. Are there delays on OEM parts?

What exactly is a rear bumper trim cover? And yes, ordering parts can take easily two weeks and more. Not that there is a particular delay. But ordering any part is a crap shoot.

On my Kia parts website that's what they call it (Trim Cover - Kia (86653-J5300). One $15.00 piece is holding this up

Something that minor shouldn't prevent you taking the car and getting it fitted when the part arrives.

You're correct but there are 2 screws in the back that hold this on the cover. They'll have to remove the cover again to attach this when it comes in (if i took it now)
