I successfully removed the rear kia badge but can’t get rid of this ring that’s left. I scrubbed and polished by hand but looks like tiny scratches. Hard to get a good picture. I used light heat from hair dryer, goo gone and a flat flexible rubber thing that I bought from advanced auto. Thanks experts!

I’m no expert but maybe a claybar will help, also the paint that was under your badge is a tad darker now as the rest of the car has been exposed to sunlight. I my opinion if the claybar & a good polish & wax removes the fine scatches of the badge the colour should balance out with time.

I’ve never used a claybar but will check it out.

What do you use to buff and polish? Rookie here, thanks.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Meguiar’s ultimate compund (clear coat safe).

Use a standard applicator pad or old cotton t-shirt start gentle... small circles. It won’t famage even if you start applying pressure. Wipe often to see results.

Apply sealant/or wax after.

You’ll be fine.

I’ll have to pick some up.

Meguiar smells great also, have a polish from them that smells like bananas but, attracts bees, lol.

Your pics look more like swirls around where the badge used to be than a mark made by the badge itself, like from a car wash or mitt?

I have other maguiar products but have no idea what they are for :-). I tried each of theses including the orange bottle scratch repair.
