Haven't signed yet but the dealership experience was good.

They had 6 GT2. No GT/GT1.

Didn't take much haggling for them to offer me invoice. There really wasn't any dealer markup except for the GT2 inside the showroom. That one had a 400$ markup for tinting and 900 for something else.

Still have about 6 weeks to decide before signing the dotted line.

Thank you for the information! Something doesn't feel right about having the green "No Dealer Markup" flag up on this one - when there's a $1300 markup... The right thing to do here is for me to change this one to "Dealer Markup". When they decide to remove those markups, the flag can change.

This is why I review every post...

Thanks, I just figured they had 6 GT2s they were offering me at invoice so felt overall it was a good dealership.

Don't want people to think it was a bad dealership experience because they were all very professional. Also, i've been to 4 kia dealerships and this one was the best physically. The other three were quite run down and uninviting. This one was well kept, clean and upscale.

All good information and thank you for supplying it. People will look in here and see what you're saying. There's a markup, but a small one, the dealership is clean, and the employees treated you well. Maybe I need a "pink" markup label for "light" markups. :p

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before all the markups go away...

I think the dealership condition is potentially significant. I bought mine from the lowest bidder, but the dealership was a small "roof" that is part of a 16 "roof" larger chain in the area. The waiting area and shop was unimpressive, one technician was very impressive however, and the deal was the best. They are rebuilding the Kia building and shop this coming year which should bring the Kia label up a few notches. You have to do everything right to make big gains. Are buyers willing to overlook sub-standard facilities to get a better deal on a great car? Depends.
