Raw Exhaust Smell In Cabin

I have a 2022 Stinger GT2 has 2500 on the clock and recently went back to stock cat mid pipes, after having ark performance catless mid pipes. Since going stock I made sure to buy exact new gaskets for stock pipes, but when stepping on it “Aggressively” I’ve been getting gas smell in cabin. The smell also comes up sometimes when I start up the car cold start, has anybody had any similar situation if so can you advice if this is normal.

Burned gas smell? I’ve heard of raw exhaust and gas, but not burned gas. Burning oil smell? I had a wrx that would leak fuel and create a gas smell from the fuel manifold when it was cold.

sounds like an exhaust leak , why didyou swap the mid pipes back out ?

Okey, that has been on my mind but have not had time to check it out. In the Other hand I changed it out because I was running only mid pipes everything else is all stock. The car would feel really sluggish when stepping on it, to we’re it didn’t run the same when stepping on it. As soon I put stock pipes back after 4 months the car runs smooth in my opinion faster then when having the mid pipes. For sure the sound was great but performance wasn’t, will reinstall when get JB4.
