I noticed in my last two fill ups that the range has gone down significantly. Instead or resetting around over 300 miles (330 was the last decent reading I saw), it has shown me just under 300 miles a few days ago, then today after topping it off, 245 miles. The analog gauge appears to be correct when I fill up, so what gives?

Im thinking u been pushing the fuel pedal harder... im no expert but i believe the gauge is smart to calculate your mpg average and base it off that

My estimated range after fill ups seems to depend on previous mileage averages from most recent trip. Then it adjusts on the fly if mileage changes from city (poorer) to highway (better).

What he said. Don't read anything into what's shown at fill-up, it adjusts based on "recent" calculations.

You'll sleep a lot better if you leave your display on "compass" or some other worthless mode.

Well, I have been pushing the pedal harder after getting past 1k miles, so that might have something to do with it. :) Thanks for the responses guys, I'll pay it no mind.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
5th fuel filled up and I was worried as well ... keep changing ( like a lot) but I guess its the computer. as long as the needle inst on E (btw how long do we have when the light comes up?) we should be good not to worry.
mine shows 450 KM every fill up, no more no less.... then give it couple of city drive and Iam "losing" a lot of km to go ...

I ran my car 4 miles past the 0 miles left point and put 15.1 gallons in the 15.9 g tank. So, with normal driving about 15 to 20 miles, I'm guessing. But it's not good to run that low on a regular (or premium) basis. And I hate driving that deep into the tank, but it was an experiment. I had a jug of gas on hand just in case.
