Hi there,

I'm new to this forum and new to the Kia Stinger. I traded in my Forte and I'm loving the Stinger so far. I'm going to do the Race chip GTS Black upgrade and was wondering if anyone partners that with an air intake upgrade like the K&N upgrade? is this a worthwhile upgrade to get more out of the race chip upgrade?

Also, I see multiple threads about spark plugs. Is there a particular brand that you recommend?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your responses!

Jonathan

I would first get your plugs either regapped or replaced (search the forum there are may threads on this topic). Second make sure you get the bluetooth option with the racechip. And lastly if and when you upgrade your intakes and exhaust let racechip know, they said they can increase the power a bit.

Also checkout the burger motors JB4. It is less expensive and seems to be a superior product. I am still considering making the jump to a chip. If I do it will be the JB4.

And there are better intakes out there the K&N so take your time and look around.
But mods do work well with the chips.

For plugs run the Denos gapped at 0.022". JB4 is the best tuning system out by far. ;) And we've also got an nice intake coming out soon so at least wait for that to check it out.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
