Hello,

I have a 2018 GT2.

I installed Magnaflow exhaust, K&N Intake, The Racechip GTS and HKS M45iL plugs.

Car was running amazing and was really fast compared to stock! I was satisfied with the mods for sure!

Then, I started to notice when I had the chip set to sport and the transmission to sport if I went from a stop and punched it, it was fine, but if I was already moving and hit the gas, there was a hesitation for a few seconds before it would accelerate.

Now the check engine light has come on and you can tell that the car has lost the power that it had before. The check engine light was a cylinder 6 misfire. Does anyone know why this is happening or any suggestions to fix it?

I'm running 91 gas at 5,280 feet elevation. Car has 14.,000 miles

Thanks!

Did you gap the plugs? The HKS have a larger gap from the factory than recommended .028-.030 so should be gapped to .022-.024. Even if they were I would pull all the plugs and check them and the coils for any visible damage. If they look fine then swap the location of the plugs to see if you get the same error to narrow down the issue with the plug or the coil, or something else.

Also, if you don't have 93 octane where you live then I wouldn't run the RaceChip on the highest setting.

Def sounds like a plug and/or coil issue.

DO NOT RE-GAP THE PLUGS!!! Guy up top is misinformed. HKS are set to a specific .028...Only gap those cheap ass denso plugs.

I'd suggest gapping all plugs including the HKS to .022" at most.
