I am sorry to hear this. For the next steps, we would need your order number to identify the serial number of the product. Please include it to the email to our customer support.

Is there a way to change maps without the app and there isn't a generic fix for this ?

There could be many different reasons. First, the support team will check whether you actually ordered the app version (if you want to check whether you got a RS with app feature: there should be a Bluetooth logo on the RaceChip and no rotary dial).
They also know, whether the 8.0 version can be the issue. Sometimes, Android had problems with new versions of their operation system. Version 8.1 would be the fix for that.
In case of the RS, the mappings can be switched just via phone.

The Bluetooth pin is the last 6 of your Racechip serial number. It’s in the user manual.

Thanks Gleis25 - this was the answer I have been looking for and was struggling to find. This info is nowhere to be found in my documentation relating to the GTS chip.

I have iPhone 11 latest iOS and latest RC+ app. When I go to try and pair via app no code displays to even enter to pair device??? How do I connect?

I've bought the RaceChip GTS Black and installed it a few weeks back. I haven't got the Bluetooth to work properly. When I originally installed it, I was unable to make my phone (iPhone X) pair with it. Even when I literally stood with the phone a few inches from the RaceChip box under the hood, it refused to pair (the pairing code was right). Some time later I took the car for a ride, and tried to pair again: Bingo, suddenly worked even without re-entering the pairing code. But I couldn't change between efficiency, sport and race. Either it didn't change or it totally dropped out (acted like I turned RaceChip off). A few times under normal drive, I've been able to change between the modes. Today it first didn't work, then I parked in my garage with the ignition on and then it did work.
When looking at the RaceChip device under the hood, everything looks fine on the display.

(I've requested support on RaceChip's website more than a week ago. No response whatsoever...).

Anyone else seen issues like this with RaceChip and Bluetooth?
I have this exact same issue anyone know how to fix it?

Just wanted to clarify that you guys are only trying to connect to the racechip when the car is on?

I have a gts black, and can confirm that on rare occasions, it does not connect, but it's just a matter of restarting the app and everything works fine.

Another question, is it normal for the device itself, under the hood to display the setting #, Bluetooth icon, for a few minutes then go black, or is the device display supposed to stay lit as long as the ignition is on/ motor is running?
sorry for the hijack but its hard to get answers for this hardware.

Was the issue solved by our support team?
Question it seems like my box keeps turning off with my bluetooth device saying its on. I've opened the hood turned the race box on Via Bluetooth and the app. It Comes on the Display and I can change modes etc. Then the display shuts off. And seems like it's not working according to my times racing in the quarter. Please advise.

hey guys random question. just installed the RS chip in my stinger. works fine. just curious to know whether i have to open my app everytime i get into the car in order for the chip to do its thing?

It stays in the mode you left it last.

Yes, the JB4 works this way too.
The JB4 has an option you can enable to switch maps using the wiper stalk intermittent setting (while the stalk is in the off position).
