The Stinger's entire interior is designed so nicely, with the buttons and controls quietly springing back into position. They're silent, and they feel great to use. But the cupholders make a racket whenever I insert and remove my drink. They just feel cheap.
These cupholders have spring-loaded pieces of plastic to hold your drink. I much prefer the solution in newer FCA vehicles, which use thick rubber inserts rather than plastic. Quiet, and much nicer.
Anyone try adding any kind of insert instead of the plastic parts, or any suggestions to quiet down the cupholders? I figure it could be done by pulling out the plastic pieces and adding some kind of molded piece in instead.
I got excited by the KDM center console when I saw it, but it looks like that doesn't replace the actual cupholders at all.
