This is short, but here's the first in-car video I've come across that shows the acceleration of the GT 3.3T. It's done in Sport mode, which presumably has the highest level of fake engine noise, yet it sounds pretty natural to me (granted the A/V quality is mediocre). Gets up and goes pretty good, too!

Interesting how the speedo is designed. 10km intervals, then 20km then 30km, makes the 0-100km look very fast.

Yes, if does sound reasonable from the inside. Just hoping for a bit more aggressive sound on the outside. Still wish it had a stick.

Good spotting.
The dial also goes all the way up to 300km ... damn I wish we had roads in aus fto try these speeds (besides racetracks).

Yeah that is pretty interesting, and while I like it if you had to go up to 300kmph, I do hope that for us backwards miles-users it's just a linear 0-200 range.

5.3sec 0-100 with 2 passengers and camera equipment in a new car. I think the 4.8sec run was not proper, never the less this thing will easily rip 4.7 - 4.8 with the driver only and a broken in car.

4.8, that's pretty awesome.
Not sure why you put an aterisks against that one (*....not proper?). Perhaps because of the 4 runs that was their best.
Also saw 4.9 in that korea release day event too.
All seems legit.

Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it.

With the device you do get a fluke hero run every once in a while, nevertheless if you take the average of the 4 runs factoring in the 4.8 run you will get around 5.2sec which is amazing considering that 2 passengers are in the car with camera equipment.

Yeah far enough. We'll claim it though ;).
I've seen in the past a few "unnamed" cars spruik 0-100s/0-60s that were never actaully acheivable on-the-road though.
4.9 is verifiably attainable here.

So just to clarify?
This second video (posted by Stinger) is based on the AWD 3.3 with launch control, as discussed on the 'Launch Control' thread the AWD System has it and RWD doesn't.
Even though it's heavier, potentially the AWD could be quicker 0-100km/h (0-62mph) then the 4.9s for the RWD (understanding a broken in RWD could also improve)
Need to find a Vid of the AWD with just the driver, is the first video (posted by inintelligible) AWD or RWD?

3.3 rwd definitely has launch control too.

See video, from time 1:22:40 to about 1:25...

Awesome, your all over it.

I actually looked over the clip of him accelerating a few times until I noticed that the revs were sitting at around 2-2500 rpm.
Remember reading an article that wrote the AWD only had it which put me off track.
I'm so going to loose my license

Isn't their exhaust more restricted over there as well? Might we get an additional tenth of a second due to that? I'm sure intake and exhaust once in the hands of enthusiasts will net an additional tenth or two as well...

We might get a few extra pounds as well due to the different regulations etc. I hope not, lets see.
