What's going on Stinger fam? Quick question on the launch control of the car. So I've heard that the LC doesn't build boost from the 18-21 models. Not sure where but I heard that Kia upgraded some LCM for the 22 and the launch actually builds boost. I just wanted to clarify that 'cause I have no idea. I went to the screen that shows the torque & boost gauges on the dash behind the steering wheel and right when I start climbing up RPMs (somewhere between 2300 and 2400) I see boost building to about 7-8 PSI. I wanted to know if that was all legitimate. Am I actually building boost before I launch? Probably buying draggy soon to check out some real times so I don't have any yet. Thanks!

Interesting! A logger like JB would confirm.

Who's JB? Haha. But yeah, from reading through everyone talking about launching their cars and not building boost I was like wait... am I? Lol I want to say the gauges are accurately showing information but who knows.

I would assume your gauges are actually producing reliable data.
Have you had the same experience? I see you also have a '22. I heard Kia upgraded the LC system for the '22s but not a clue yet.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I'll have to check mine out in a bit. I just cracked the 600 mile mark in mine, so FACTORY specified break in period is over. Not enough for me yet. I'll have to try it without actually launching.

Went to try it and it indeed is showing boost in the stock gauge. Not much though, maybe a few lb. Didn’t launch it though so not sure on if it stays.
