So let me start off by saying I love my Stinger.. Figured I'd start off with something we all could agree with. Now that happy horseshit is over with I searched everywhere for the proper wiring diagrams on the 2.0 Stinger for upgrading the sound system to an aftermarket Amp and 2 10" Subs in a sealed box. I have a RF Prime 750x1 Amp and a Prime 2x10 w/500 RMS @2ohm also RF. So I ended up paying 19$ for 72hr access on the Kia tech official service website and gained access as if I was a technician working @ Kia, minus all the fancy gadgetry of course. Hopefully this will help others upgrade the bass in their Stinger without an external Amp and without the Harmon Kardon sound system of course. So I did the install today and I'm no audio install guy or really a gear head at all. I mean I can change oil brakes rotors and just did a Injen Cold Air Intake so apparently I can follow directions pretty well. So this install took me 2 hours and is far from perfectly clean but you can't see any wires from the inside.. I wish I took photos as I was doing the install but I was in the zone and frankly didn't want to keep stopping. The first set of diagrams was what I was planning on doing originally which would have included running two 9 wire T-harnesses to behind the dash to connect to the factory receiver and get the input from one of the harnesses and sending that to the Amp while using the other two have the amplifier send the amplified sound back to the receiver and out to the appropriate speakers. I was originally planning on upgrading the speakers in the car but for now I just decided to tap into the rear door speakers using the door harnesses right behind the trim where the seat belt goes into. The last two pictures show the correct location of these two harnesses FD31 and FD41 and it shows the color and location of the wires on the harness number 15 and 11 on both sides.. I took off the door panel just to dbl check the wiring colors were correct and they were. In those harnesses though there are more than one black and white wire but the inside of the harnesses have tiny numbers engrained into them corresponding to the wire on the other side of the harness and numbers 15 and 11 on both sides were the colors I needed. Make sure you match polarity and mark your wire your running back to the high-level inputs on your Amp or LOC if your Amp doesn't have high level inputs. I used the rear doors for convenience sake it is arguably better to use the front doors but for just the low frequency input I needed the Amp to receive I assumed it was OK.. So far so good btw.. Oh I used Posi-taps to tap the wires in the door harnesses while I'm sure you could splice and crimp I find the wire taps effective for the small space I had to work with. Hopefully this helps some guys without the premium sound system like myself take the leap to help bring a little more bass into the Stinger. I have my gain turned way down and I ran the bass knob up by the driver side fuse panel.. That's turned down as well the two 10"s are a bit overkill but I'd rather have more and be able to turn it down on command opposed to wishing there was more power from the subs. I'll throw some pics up tmro if I get motivated. IMG_20210418_215148.webpIMG_20210418_215418.webpIMG_20210418_213915.webpIMG_20210418_214657.webp

Wow, what an introduction! :D  You may not describe yourself as a gearhead, but that's not what I am seeing.
