Has anyone experienced an issue with the pushbutton start/stop switch not working when turning off the Stringer? Frequently when I go to park the car and I am fully stopped in my garage, when I push the button to turn off the car it just goes into ACC mode and does not turn off the car. If I open the door the motor is off but everything is still on. Sometimes I have to start and stop the car 3-4 times to actually get it to shut off fully. I assume a faulty Start/Strop switch, but maybe I am doing something wrong?

GT/GT1/GT2? And you ARE switching back into Park if GT/GT1 before doing this?

Good questions.
2019 GT2. No, I never had to push Park. I have always been able to just push Stop and the car goes into Park and turns off. But today I did push Park when this happened and it still acted the same. My wife's Lincoln MKX also allows you to just turn it off and it automatically goes into Park.

Yeah, with GT2, you don't have to. With GT1, it will go in ACC and warn about "need to shift into park". Just trying to get more details out there..

I think it has happened once or twice. Just press the button again (twice I think?) to turn off.

Kinda sounds like the door pin isn’t working. The accessories are supposed to turn off when the door is opened.. Maybe your cars door pin isn’t working correctly. The car may not see the driver door being opened.

Basically everything on the dash. Speedo cluster, infotainment screen....
Well, you could just shut the door, lock it and walk away. Everything will shut down in less than five minutes anyway, with the engine off.:P
