Well so far I'm pretty blown away by this car. Exterior, interior, and performance have all exceeded my expectations. Before test driving the car, the sales manager was talking to me about how impressed I was going to be with the performance, and how I would get attention everywhere I went. Being a Hellcat owner I have to admit my first thought was "yeah right." But he was 100% right, the car is very impressive, the more I drive it and the more I stare at it, the more I love it. Only day 2, but so far I am more than pleased with my purchase.

Welcome and Congrats on your Stinger!

It was a 16' TorRed Challenger. Traded out of it for a couple reasons. My wife was pregnant with our second child, so the Challenger just wasn't a good option, and also I'm in the Air Force and having to leave for a year for pilot training so again, not the best car to take on the road for long travels. But I did absolutely love the car, it was amazing.

Welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up. And congratulations on your Stinger GT! Wow, Hellcat, huh?! One of my favorite cars due to the raw, brutal power... I'm glad to hear you've loving the Stinger! That's great to hear from a previous high-performance car owner... Thank you for your service!

That's Awesome! I own a Hellcat also and my impressions of the stinger are in line with yours. Interesting how we both landed here. I hear ya on the military, prior Army here. Thanks for your service!

And for yours as well!

So...what are ya going to be flying? I'm in the 2d MAW. There's a big airshow here this weekend. Lots of noise outside right now from AF, Navy, and MC birds practicing. It's a lot louder than what we usually experience from the ole' F35s, F18s, Harriers, etc.

Last year the AF contributed a B52, F16, and F15 for display and a pair of F22s to conduct a few low level fly-bys. The F22s obviously stole the show.

The Navy's Blue Angel practice is putting on quite a show for us right now! They're about to make me late to an appointment.

I'm actually going the unmanned route, MQ-9s. Love the mission and the impact it has. I did work on F-16s and A-10s for 14 years when I was on the enlisted side though.

Man I'm a big aviation geek. While in Afghanistan there was no better sound than the "bbburrrp" of an A10 nearby.

Interesting post. I'm considering trading in a 2018 Challenger GT (AWD model). I must have AWD and fell in love when I found out about the Challenger. For the uninitiated, the GT is available only with the V6 (305 hp, 278 torque). It's adequate, but it's a big fat pig on twisty, curvy roads. Slow, too (0-60, 6.2 secs). I've had multiple problems with it since I took delivery last December (two days and it was in the shop).

I have to say I was very impressed with my Stinger test drive. I'm very disappointed I can't get a blue one with the black interior. I don't feel like compromising on a $53k purchase. Now if I can get the yellow GT2 it may clinch the deal (found one 100 miles away).
