I'm simply going to call this tune "Crack for Snap-Your-Head-Back" addicts like me!

While I was traveling for business, my ECU was being decoded and tuned by PRESSERTech. Much to my disappointment, business obligations kept from being able to install my reprogrammed ECU for much longer than I intended. Last night, my dream came true when I put the tuned ECU into my baby and took her out for a spin.

While I was away from my Stinger, I spent some high quality time driving a new BMW 550i XDrive. That beast, and it's 456hp/480tq, had me wondering why I bought the Stinger. It's effortless acceleration was thrilling! This experience became my benchmark for whether I would consider the new tune a success.

Thanks to Todd at PRESSERTech, I have zero regrets with my tuned 3.3L TT AWD Stinger! This tune is amazing, bringing the most smiles per gallon I've experienced in longer than I can recall! I put it into Sport mode, selected drive, mashed the pedal and without hesitation my rear tires broke loose and she roared ahead!

I wish there was a Dyno near El Paso so I could find the exact HP/TQ numbers, but for now I will simply be satisfied knowing she didn't move like this before the tune. This tune is worth every penny spent, and more! IMO

Thanks for reading!

Is the car otherwise stock? Do you know what boost pressure they are up to? Dyno or track time would be awesome haha

Stock aside from K&N Drop in filters. No idea otherwise on what they reprogrammed.

Glad to hear you like it!

Sorry for all these questions....but:
I assume you are running stock plugs with stock gap?
Is the acceleration of the tuned Stinger comparable to the BMW 550i XDrive, worse or better?
Any improvement in throttle response in the non sport modes compared to stock?
Any variation in the transmission shifting characteristics in sport mode and the non sport modes?

Sorry for all these questions....but:
I assume you are running stock plugs with stock gap? Yes.
Is the acceleration of the tuned Stinger comparable to the BMW 550i XDrive, worse or better? It feels much better, perhaps because the XDrive weighs 500 more pounds.
Any improvement in throttle response in the non sport modes compared to stock? Yes, and getting better by the mile as I drive it harder.
Any variation in the transmission shifting characteristics in sport mode and the non sport modes?
I can't identify a difference, but I wasn't unhappy with stock.

I intend to talk my local BMW sales manager into going head-to-head for a straight run this weekend. Hopefully he'll bite and I will win!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You, sir, have just made my day!!

With respect to the transmission shifting characteristics, let me give you an example. In a Porsche Macan S that I recently owned, going from regular to sport to sport+ modes, when using the shift paddles, the transmission would progressively shift faster to the point where, in sport+ mode, it would literally slam into the next gear with no hesitation whatsoever. I find when using the paddles in the Stinger, even in sport mode, there is a noticeable delay in shifting once you press the paddle. Sort of a "lazy shift". I was wondering if that improved with the tune.

BTW, I hope the head-to-head with the Bimmer comes to fruition!!
