More good advice...

- Separate long bodies of text into paragraphs. Most people will not read a "wall of text". A "wall of text" is when you have thousands of words together without a break/paragraph. This makes for a difficult read - and most people will just move on to something else. If you didn't want people to read your message, you would not have posted it in the first place. So please take this advice.

- Try to avoid run on sentences. Like above, people get confused easily and with the limited amount of free time people have in 2018, it's a good idea to keep them focused by making messages as easy to read and understand as possible.

- Proof read what you write! (or type) - It's important! Especially be sure you've used the "quote" feature properly - because if you don't - you risk people not seeing your message (it can get hidden).

- It's always better to "resurrect" an old thread rather than start a new one. How old doesn't matter. It's better to have all the information about a specific topic in one place rather than have people come along and need to search through page after page of multiple discussions. I will never be disappointed at an old discussion being revived...

If you have more good advice, please reply so it can be added...

Post in the correct section, for example there is an exhaust install thread in the Community section. Makes finding info later much easier.

Also search before posting. We’re going to be getting a lot of new members as sales pick up and we don’t need 45 threads asking where to buy a large Stinger badge for the hatch.

Yes, exactly. These are covered in the video as well...

Besides confusing readers, when you write run-ons you risk ticking off the resident retired English teacher.

I'll add, we all make typos, so please proofread!

That being said, most of you on this forum are so much more literate and readable than the bulk of what I've seen out there! I avoid forums, but I'm hooked on this one.

I'm adding "proof read"! Thank you... :)
