Hey all,

Not sure if this is the right place for it, but this forum has been good to me so far. I have a problem with my leather seats. I noticed these about a week after I got the car, and they have only gotten worse. I have followed directions for how to care for leather seats, and I do my best to keep sunshades on my car when it is in direct sunlight and parked.

Is this normal or should I have Kia look into it?

Creases are normal I have the same. Fading? Well that’s the risk when you buy red leather. Your photo is the squab right?

yes that red is weak.

I would call creases normal. Upon the millions of car reviews I have watched, even "luxury" European cars show creases in side and thigh bolsters with low mileage. Scuff marks, worn patches and tears would be an area of concern. Mine has a couple small creases in the thigh bolsters, which I consider normal. I had applied a leather conditioner from day 2 of owning the car and it has almost no mileage yet. Nature of leather/pleather I suppose.
