Possible Genesis G70 Wagon?

I am a new member on the forum, so I am not able to post a link. I saw a C&D article referencing this. It's only related to the Stinger peripherally, but I thought the crowd here would find it interesting.

If this comes to the US (God willing), who else would be cross shopping this with a refreshed Kia Stinger? I certainly would be.

If someone would like to post the link, that would be appreciated.

They basically plastered the front of the GV80 onto the G70 instead of using the F/L front for the G70.

Wagon is love, wagon is life. -current daily is a 2012 acura tsx wagon. I wound never go back to a corrola or a Civic after a wagon. Sedans are so bland.

I hate wagons. Always have, always will. But I'd sure love to see a 2dr convertible Stinger. I'd be all over that in a heartbeat.

I sadly picked the Stinger because no station wagons were available to replace my LGT wagon. Not that I'm disappointed, but if that comes to the US and has as much (Edit: REAR) leg room as the Stinger? I'm getting out of my lease early, losing $5K in equity, etc..

I would for sure look at this, when my lease is up. FWIW, I'm not sure I like this new quad headlight look Genesis is adopting, but a long roof, rear drive value packed luxury car is right up my alley.

I must admit I bought an 07 Dodge Magnum RT AWD when it came out. I wanted something that looked different. I was surprised how well it handled.

I'm a big fan of wagons and think the rendering of the G70 above looks very good. My hope if it (or a Stinger version) were to come to market is that they actually have a decent amount of cargo space in the back. While the "shooting brake" look is very cool, I'd like to see the back end stretched out some for practicality.
