If your original choice of paint colour was not listed what then would you have hypothetically chosen.
Assuming all other colours were available.

I liked the Stinger from the moment I first saw it, but my heart was set on either a Navy , Midnight or even Deep Sea Blue from BMW, if Deep Chroma Blue was not available in Stinger, I still would not know if I would of bought one, even though I liked the car, so i got the colour and car I wanted, I am at peace with my colour choice and Stinger..lol

I learned my lesson to never buy a dark colored car again. If I didn't get red I would have gone Micro Blue, but sure am glad I didn't with the reports I've seen about paint issues on that color :D

Hi DC, wow same as me the DCB sold the car, if it wasn't available im wondering if i would have continued. When i showed the wife she loved the colour. I still wonder if she would have accepted an alternative?
Win/win.

I wanted Snow White Pearl with red interior but when I was shopping there were none available east of the Mississippi River (most of the non-red or blue Stingers were in Southern California and Texas). Within 200 miles of me, the best choices were Silky Silver with red interior and Ceramic Silver with black interior. After seeing it in person I went with Ceramic Silver.

Blue, red, and black were all no-go for me.

Originally I wanted the deep chroma blue - the dealer talked me out of it...

at the time (12.28.2017) ther where not many cars delivered, and I got scared to pick the wrong color so I went for black, like the car I test drove.
Today I would go for ceramic gray.

Wanted ceramic/red from the start. My second choice was white/red

I have 3 black vehicles in the garage and did not need another relationship with black paint.

Red/Yellow was a no go for my driving habits, no need for extra attention.

Silky Silver was my first, Aurora Black my second. I settled for the High Chroma Red as it was the only of the three which got me the all black interior. The wife and I just couldn’t get on board with the way Kia did the red interior. Truthfully, we liked the car in every color offered.

Panthera Metal is what I would go for. But any color is okay if all the other boxes are checked.

My first choice was the Sunset Yellow and the dealer I bought the car say yellow and deep chroma blue are not import in the US. So I choose the Mirco Blue as the next best thing. After I already brought for a month, then I see a yellow in the parking lot of another dealership. I am so piss at the dealership where I bought my car for lying to me. I never went back to them for any services or recall services. The Boss AKA (Wife) say we can go and trade the mirco blue for the yellow if I want, but I don't want to own any more bills and say no thanks. The mirco blue slowly grow on me now and I happy with it. In the long run if I want the yellow color, I will pay for a vinyl wrap, but until then I enjoying the mirco blue.

Ceramic for me but if the orange that was on the SEMA model were available, I would've loved that. Orange with black wheels and black trim.

I voted Yellow although that was my first choice and unfortunately didn't work out which is why I now have my 2nd choice of Ceramic Silver

Got ceramic silver i luv the color, platonic color would be miami blue but of course not offered anywhere in the world

That SEMA orange was what I demanded going in to talk about buying: they said I couldn't have it, and if I wanted to repaint the car after leasing, go right ahead. I figured it wasn't a deal breaker. And I may still Orange my Stinger; but I think I'd do a wrap rather than repaint. And I'm "one third" there: I have black wheels now. :P

Technically my ceramic silver now is my second choice because the dealers weren't allowed to sell the yellow ones during the recall. However, if I could have waited to buy it, I would have gotten the sunset yellow no doubt.

Deep chroma blue, but sadly is not offered in the US :notworthy:

Nor in Canada. As much as I like my red I'd have gone for that deep blue in a heartbeat.

I wanted Micro Blue from the start, until I saw the Panthera Metal. It became a coin flip for me, but I was leaning towards the Panthera Metal.

Until I couldn't find one, so I ended up with Micro Blue. So, technically, I got my second choice, plus still absolutely love it. So many compliments on the color.

I would have went with white as my second choice - maybe even 1st if one was on the lot where I purchased. I bought the red GT2 that I test drove but wasn't initially fond of it (overcast day). I was also considering micro blue. What sold me on the hichroma red was when after my test drive the late afternoon sun came out and the metal flake really popped when I turned around to look at it. Looked like a different car. Up until that point I was not impressed with the look of it. It isn't very impressive in low light conditions. To this day I do a double take when I looked at it in full sun - it looks beautiful. I sometimes park near a bright red (no metal flake) genesis at work and I realize (to me) how much better the hichroma red looks on a gt vehicle when compared to a Rosso corsa (Ferrari) style red. But back to white .... most of the vehicles I've ever owned were white. Not much depth in gloss (i.e. no show car look) but white is really easy to care for when the vehicle is always outside. Pollen season is nothing to look forward to, but white cleans up nice and doesn't show scratches as easily. Never owned a black car, lol.
