Here is the black and white Stinger minus roof rack lights and police decals but soon on NZ roads. Photo taken by Mrs ibmaxx . Well spotted I say. Try and get away suckers.

I have seen Stingers in my local Kia Dealership yard, just taken off the car carrier, the white you see on the front bonnet is actually protective plastic placed at the factory to prevent damage while being transported, as you can also see the lower side skirt beneath the doors, and i would say, the strips between the front and rear doors also have protective plastic, the white you see on the bonnet will be removed and the bonnet is same colour as the rest of the car, seen them in person.

Sorry , but i have seen this before and have a video of 3 Stingers parked next to each other, all with protective plastic including a Ceramic Grey, which i could have had right now, but waiting for Deep Chroma Blue.

Standard protective plastic.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
No they don’t, but they do have some kick ass pepper spray to take down all the aspiring terrorists!
You from north or South Island?

Yup, I think there are more pictures in the massive "Australia" discussion thread. :)

The above picture shows the NZ Police livery. The source was a New Zealand Mag Stinger editorial piece, but whether depicting an actual vehicle on evaluation, or the result of someones fanciful photoshopping I've no idea. The light cluster is certainly similar in style to a type used on more recent police vehicles here, and quite different to those shown on the Australian Police evaluation Stinger.

[Edit] The pic is an 'artistic rendition' and not a genuine test mule.

Certainly, the manufacturing demise of the RWD Australian Holden Commodore as the mainstay of the NZ Police fleet would have been telegraphed long ago, and testing for suitable potential replacements will have been underway for some time. If the Stinger is in serious contention, most I imagine would be 2.0-liter base models, with perhaps a small percentage with the TTV6 for highway pursuit. We shall see.
