Good morning/afternoon all! I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust, and downpipes, and would really appreciate help on it. I've been looking into exhausts that are valvetronic, Tneer wouldn't respond, Bullet I can't even find, and RCP is useless as a website.

Can anybody recommend me an exhaust that boosts performance, doesn't sound too aggressive since I drive a lot, don't want to lose hearing (so not the borla), and they've noticed doesn't cause the vibration/rattling noise some have complained about in exhausts?

I would also like a recommendation on the catted down pipes between: sxth element, lap3, and NGT, all are 200 cell downpipes.

Please let me know any suggestion you feel would help!

I have a Borla catback and Borla tips and it sounds incredible and is also lighter than OEM which is always good. No downpipes or intakes or tunes yet on my end. Trying to keep everything fairly stock and simple in case I have future warranty claims. Good luck friend!:thumbup:

MBRP is a nice sound level without being too loud. I've had mine for almost 2 years now. I will be adding downpipes later this week to increase the volume a bit, so i guess that speaks to the level of sound. Definitely way better than stock, but not too loud. Very "dailyable". Can't speak on valved exhausts, or any other exhaust for that matter. I've only heard mine.

You don't notice any droning, or rattling/vibrations at low rpm? Thank you very much for the luck!

How is the build quality? And also no vibrations? Very important to my peace of mind is the lack of vibration . I've thought about both mbrp and borla due to their decent pricing, and how many people use them.

build quality seems quite nice. I have the cheaper version (aluminized steel) and it is holding up well after 2 Pittsburgh winters. The stainless version is even better, I'm sure. I have no drone and no vibration with stock exhaust tips. I daily drove my stinger until about 10 days ago when I bought a second car. I've taken it on multiple 3-hour (each way) road trips, and never felt annoyed by it in any way. But when I step on it, it really sings. I don't think you can go wrong with it, unless you're someone who wants a lot of volume.

MBRP SS with Ark downpipes.. add tips and it sounds beautiful . About $1600 total, easy to install yourself

Borla! Ha ha, JK. it is loud, but with tips that actually attach to the pipes it's very manageable in the car, sounds badass outside the car. But MBRP is a good choice and isn't as loud.

A little bit of drone but I am also coming from a 2014 WRX with an SPT-Catback so I am probably a bit desensitized to the annoying noises and sounds and drones. :p

Actually if I'm being honest the Borla tips are a complete waste of money outside of looking cool. I'm being 100% serious lmfao. :p

the Borla tips do look cool, but that's why I went with the Ali Express carbon fiber look tips. They look great and they attach to the pipe. Borla sound is now perfect!
