Please help me with 2 issues

I reached out to the OP to see if we could get around the picture posting limits, here's what his lights look like. What do you think?

These look exactly like they're supposed to look. The brightest part is at the road surface and directly in front of the car. The spot in the trees is likely just a refraction hotspot from the shape of the plastic lens. There is no defect and the bright lights are not misaligned.

That is normal operation. The higher spot serves to illuminate the over head highway signs when driving at night.

I got the impression from the OP that the high beams were shining into the trees and not illuminating the ground. Not true, by the pics. Those high beams are working well.
