Plastic vs aluminum charge pipes

I’ve noticed in a few pictures on this forum and online that some of yalls Stingers have what appears to be a plastic charge pipe where it merges under the factory bov’s. And mine looks to be aluminum? Is this a factory change in later year Stingers? I have a 2019 GT1 Rwd. Just wondering?!?!

Only 2018 model came with aluminum. Than they switched to plastic. I "upgraded " mine to plastic one. Doesn't heat up as much as aluminum one, and is lighter.
