• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Got the Stinger today and absolutely loving it and stoked I went with the bi-modal.

Sales bloke not overly helpful just went through the motions. Anyway, as he hopped out of the drivers seat to let me hop in, HE noticed a mark/dirt/something around the plastic protection sticker thing (technical term lol) and just fobbed it off and said "just the plastic" and then sent me on my way. I saw it, though my eyesight isn't flash and it looked it dirt, odd for a just detailed car. I don't handle city traffic too well so just wanted to leave before the mid arvo rush. Got home 2 hours later, looked at it again, wife thinks it's dirt, I'm not sure though it's light brownish, not like bare metal or anything.
I just want to know how it was not washed off first if it is dirt and also if that's what it is, can the sticker thing be taken off and reapplied or can I order a replacement? I'll take a pic in daylight tomorrow but I'm curious about it. Cheers.

That's a piece of PPF as the area is prone to attracting stones. It is removable but can't be reapplied. It might just be something that was missed in detailing so hopefully it will come off. Give it a wash tomorrow, maybe try some IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) as it won't damage PPF or paint. If it doesn't come off a dealer can order a replacement.

Pic is worth a thousands words, you've just go started!

Three PPF pieces are on the wheel well flare below the rear doors. Do, not, remove! They are expensive to replace (ask me how I know).

Other pieces of clear or black or whitish plastic you will find for months afterwards. I just removed a sliver of whitish plastic from between my upper grill and the bumper last week!? Been there over a year. :P

Just leave as Merlin says, the stickers do get dirty with dust around the edges. A good detailing spray should help.

Thanks for comments guys - the dirt is actually underneath the PPF not on top of so can't see how the dirt can be removed. I'll try to take a pic tomorrow. It's an eyesore and I think really stands out.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That should have been picked up before it left the factory. Suggest you call into your local Dealer who should be able to get it replaced under warranty.
