I'm using 1/16" MLV on my Stinger. It's half a pound per square foot and so far has been pretty effective. I'm willing to sacrifice a little more noise for less weight. It's more flexible than 1/8 and you can always double it up in troublesome areas.
So far I've done the doors, hatch area, rear wheel wells, and under the rear seats. All that's left is the floor, but that's a big undertaking, may need a 3 day weekend for that.
Also note that Dynamat Xtreme is only .067" thick, but performs better than almost all of the 80mil (.080") competitors. Plus you only need 25-50% coverage. 100% coverage may look better but you're deep into dimishing returns. The money and weight are much better spent on CCF/MLV on top of the CLD.
