Hello, I have a 2020 KIA Stinger GT2 AWD 3.3L V6 TT. I added K&N Typhoon cold air intakes, a JB4, HKS M45 IL spark plugs gapped to 0.022 and a full FI exhaust system with the valtronic option. I have installed the new processor chip and confirmed the unit is physically installed correctly on the JB4 as well as updated the correct software so I thought. The car is running very slow and I am afraid I don't have the correct MAP tune on the car or it is not running the tune I thought I sent to the car or that by having no cats I don't have enough back pressure to make things run right. Just really not sure at this point.

Can anyone PLEASE help me with the following:
1) Where can I find exact step by step instructions on how to update the "Correct" software on the JB4 from the app, then make sure it gets into the car? I mean like step by step, turn this off, do this, the works. That way I know 100% the tune is in the car.
2) Do I want Current Platform 21 - KIA / Hyundai for my model Stinger?
3) The stable version is JB4_P21_KIA_25_T4.hex if I select the above...is that right?
4) What map should I be running with those mods? I feel like it should be MAP 2 as I am running 93 Octane but not ready to add E30 yet.
5) What is the best site for the newest MAPs vs MODs I have so I know which one to select?
6) Is there a customer service # for Burger Tuning? I just found an email and no one has emailed me back yet and the live chat is not showing up.
7) Am I safe to drive the car even though it is not running like a monster? With these mods and the JB4 working I should have almost 500 HP but the car is even slower than it was before I installed the new exhaust. I might as well put the stock exhaust back on it. I never did try out the JB4 with just the intakes and stock exhaust. I just had intakes, no tuner and stock exhaust so that is my benchmark.
8) Does anyone know an awesome tuner shop that can help make sure I am tuned well with the JB4 or I can get rid of it and have them tune it their way that I could take it to? I live south of Indianapolis but if I have to flat bed the thing I will.

My apologies for all the questions but I am just running into brick walls, this is my daily, I don't want to hurt the engine and I needed to start talking with you guys who know way more about this than I do.
Can't thank you enough in advance for any support or help you can provide.
TGIF!!!

The app lets you download various maps, and generally (these days) knows where to go to download the right maps. Map 2 sounds about right. You should notice the extra power. Did you do just catback exhaust? Or more? Removing cats is generally a bad idea on the Stinger unless you REALLY know what you're doing - pressure changes leading to turbo oil leaks, etc.

For better support, try going to Forums - JB4tech.com - International Turbo Tuning Discussion and ask your questions there on the forum. They have dedicated support people to help, installation guides, etc..

While I hope things improve for you, I'm not at all supportive of cat deletes. Emission controls on today's cars are not the performance drag they might have been in the distant past and it's something people should leave alone.

I could care less if I'm flamed for my views but sorry, I'm right. Don

The JB4 installation and down loading of firmware is pretty straightforward. If you are removing cats you will want to add EWG wires. Speaking of wires you should already have PNP fuel wires installed. Go to the Burger Motor Sports website Kia & Hyundai JB4 - JB4tech.com - International Turbo Tuning Discussion and read everything:geek::geek:. Again it’s not hard just take a breath relax do the reading and it will all work out. If you are still have problem email Terry directly. BMS has some of the best customer support you’ll ever see. @Terry@BMS. Once you get it up and running post some logs here. Cheers.

I have to agree here with the customer support.
I recently finished installing the BMS WMI kit, and was having problems with the JB4 going into safety on WOT, dropping back to map 0.
I emailed my logs to Terry and he almost immediately emailed back to say that my trims were staying too high and causing the safety. He also noticed my IAT's were pretty high and helped me set it up for IAT spoofing. I also removed the WMI nozzle, took a video of it purging into a glass container to make sure it all looked OK.
Since re-assembling it, several runs have been flawless and the car pulls like a bat out of hell.
Support from Terry at BMS is top notch.
